Where Do I Start?
It’s a big program, and a great way to start it is asking WHY incorporating life skills learning is important in what we do.
Why Kids Love Life Skills?
Why? Brannon saw from experience that there was no really systematic way of teaching life skills.
What makes Kids Love Life Skills so unique? Brannon believes if you educate the parent, educate the student & educate the facilitator that you create this culture of life skills education!

Why You Need Character Development
Why You Need Character Development
Whether it’s Kids Love Life Skills or any other program, the reason you need character development is because parents demand it. Not everyone is capable of teaching life skills at first, but with hard work and dedication to the importance of it is what makes a great community leader and teacher of life skills!
Challenge Solvers
Adding value to the program, we find our Kids Love Life Skills program is a great way to solve challenges with children and students who’ve had challenges applying life skills in their life.
Starting with a handful of the life skills, you can have a conversation with that challenging child and their parent and go over personally how they can work on growing life skills in a rewarding way!

How The Program Functions
It takes discipline to utilize the most out of the program. Here are some answers to questions to aid in the incorporation.

Breaking down the Starter Kit
Have you received your Starter Kit? Within it, there are tons to unload and Brannon will run you through each item contained and how to start your journey with Kids Love Life Skills.
How Long to Stay on a Life Skill
We recommend that you ideally stay on a life skill for only two weeks. Most schools do 1 life skill for a full month, and that’s a long time. Adding more life skills to your curriculum has added value for your students!

The first badge that we’re going to use is Family!
Brannon explains the methods to start your Kids Love Life Skills partnership.
When to Award Badges
We find it very engaging to offer the badges during class openly, rewarding children who are doing their best and on their behavior the attention they deserve for applying important life skills even when no one is looking.

How Do I Train My Team?
Much like a restaurant, our life skills and our curriculum is the product.
We want to make sure your team is highly-trained on executing the program with confidence. Download the Support Materials and go over the the printouts with your team.

How to Deliver a “Life Talk”
How to Deliver a “Life Talk”
How do I deliver a “Life Talk” to my classes?
First of all, print out your “Life Talk” printout and go over it with your team. You’ll find that within the Support Materials of that life skill under My Library.
Have your team practice doing a “Life Talk” among themselves, prioritizing remembering it verbatim instead of using a clipboard or having the sheet on-hand.
When Do I Hand Out the Support Materials?
We hand out the support materials at the beginning of every class! We take a junior leader/instructor and have them engage with our parents and students and allow each student a chance to earn their badge within that two weeks.
We paperclip the Student/Parent Discovery sheets with the appropriate badge and give our parents the opportunity to offer that life skill at home if they haven’t earned the badge in class.

How Can You Add Value to Your Program?
How Can You Add Value to Your Program?
There’s plenty of ways to add value to the Kids Love Life Skills program, and some of the ways we do that is giving parents life skills badges for EVERY child they have, even those who aren’t enrolled in your classes!
How Can I Utilize The Retention Postcards?
Kids don’t get mail, so a great way to make them feel special is by sending them our branded retention postcards. With 5 different styles, they’re a great way to send your students mail and remind them of the culture you’re trying to build.
